I can't help think of it,until the result came.I made it!,though I know it was just the beginning,it made me feel happy.I've done the first step.The next would be the interview,with the Gazette staff headed by the chief editor.The two of them looks unfamiliar for me co'z I've never know them yet.I feel so nervous.Everytime they speak,they scares me.I don't know what to say,they were really good in english,and this experience always remind me of them.
July 6,2008,It was an exciting day for me co'z we've be having an orrientation in Tagaytay with regards to the UPHSL GAZETTE....excitement fills my surroundings.I wake up so early and the morning ambiance makes me feel good.I fix up my self then ready to go to the meeting place,at the uphsl,waiting for the others to come...and go,we rode on a jeepney.Some of us seems to be very quiet looking for a nice view.Others were enjoying one's company..''laughing out loud''.as we goes to the destination..
When we were about in Tagaytay area,we have to walk up to find a lecture hall for us and ''Green Room'' was the place to be.It was a nice place that we could even see the taal volcano nearly.I was amazed by view that made me think that Philippines still have its own serenity that should be appreciated by others.
Going back to the place where we were that time,we were now about to start the activities we've done.We've been group into three,and I was with the ''KULILING GROUP'' together with Andrea,Karla,Ely,and Maricris.The first activity was to prepare a cheer for the group.Everyone was enjoying watching each group to perform and it was fun.
After a time of laughing we then now proceed to the lecture orrientation.The Gazette staffs told us the history of UPHSL GAZETTE which involves persons who were responsible for the streghtening of this organization,the rules of the house and other important matters.It helps me to understand why is uphsl gazette was formed and its purpose to the university, and now it is time for me to think of something that would help this organization to have more years to spent in the university to make services to the perpetualites.Hearing those words from the eldest makes an inspiration for us specially for me who wants to improve my self and to learn more things.
Lunch time now came.Everyone enjoyed the meal in''kamayan'' style.Took a minute of rest and proceed to the next activity which is the photo journalism.I really enjoyed capturing photos in the surroundings to which I learned that photo should have a taught and story itself.Analyzing each photo determined someone who is good in this field...Time is passing,it was in late afternoon when the staff decided to go.The air was cold and mosquito has a large population that bites us.
Waiting for the jeepney to come,happiness was noticeable in each one's face.I enjoyed the day together with my new friends and family.I came to our house at late as 10 pm, but the whole day was worth it.For this experience, I would like to thank all the gazette staff for the experience I will treasure.Thank's for the company. And if ever I can't make to stay as long as the others can please don't get mad to me I know everything has a reason why it is happening.Thank's for the opportunity and more powers to you guys.God bless.
